The Sydney Home Show is the last show on our calendar for 2026, and it is where we will announce the winner of the 4m micro home.
After Sydney in March, then Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane, this is the final chance this year to see a pod in person, hear Matt Decarne on the housing affordability crisis, and put your name down for a pod valued at more than $68,000.
The show runs from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 October at the International Convention Centre Sydney, Darling Harbour, open 10am to 6pm daily. We will be there for all three days.
The Giveaway Winner Is Announced on Sunday
Every visitor to a 2026 Home Show has been able to enter our giveaway to win a 4m micro home valued at more than $68,000. Entries have come in from Sydney, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane since March.
The winner will be drawn and announced live on stage on Sunday 11 October, at the end of the show.
If you have not entered yet, Sydney is your last chance. Visit the Elsewhere Pods stand, fill in the entry form, and you are in. There is nothing to buy.
If you have already entered at an earlier show, you do not need to enter again. Come along on the Sunday if you can, but you do not need to be present to win.
Matt's Keynote on the Housing Affordability Crisis

Matt Decarne, our CEO and Co-Founder, is giving his final keynote of the year on the Home Inspo Stage.
- When: Saturday 10 October 2026
- Time: 1.00pm
- Where: Home Inspo Stage
- Topic: Housing Affordability Crisis
Matt has presented this session at every show in 2026, and it has sharpened with each one. Where Australia's housing crisis sits right now, the solutions on the table, why we chose the tiny home industry, and what Elsewhere Pods is contributing to it.
If you have a block and a question about what is possible on it, plan your visit around the Saturday. Matt and the team will be back on the stand straight after the session.
Two Pods on the Stand
We are bringing two pods to Sydney. Step inside both, take your time, and ask us anything.
The 4m micro home with ensuited bathroom. This is the pod we are giving away. It is a turnkey ensuited studio, 4m long by 2.4m wide, with a full electrical package, split system air conditioning, insulation through the walls, ceiling and floor, and a 1m x 2.4m bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity. That is 9.6sqm of floor.
The 4m SaltPod with sauna and cold plunge. SaltPods is our wellness range, built in partnership with Salt, and this is the recovery configuration: a sauna and cold plunge in a 4m footprint. If you saw the gym pod we built for The Block, this is the same system applied to recovery. The full range is at saltpods.com.au.
The point of bringing both is simple. Photos and a configurator will only take a decision so far. Standing inside a pod with the door open and full height glazing in front of you answers questions a product page cannot.
Same Structure, Every Size
Both pods on the stand are 4m. The structure holding them up is the same one we use across the entire range.
Every Elsewhere Pod, from the 2.7m studio to the 12m tiny home, is built on the same aluminium alloy frame with the same CEP insulated panels for the walls and roof. The same engineering, the same materials, the same standard.
So when you walk through the 4m, you are not looking at a scaled-down sample. You are looking at exactly how an 8m or a 12m is built, just with fewer panels. Wall thickness, glazing, joints and finish are what you would get at any size.
That matters if you are weighing up a larger pod. What you see and touch in Sydney is what arrives on your site.
Matt and the Team Are on the Stand All Weekend
Most of the questions we get at shows are not about design. They are about permits, timelines, site access and how a pod could work on your land.
Those are hard to resolve online and straightforward to resolve in a ten minute conversation next to the real thing. Matt and the team will be on the stand across all three days to talk through sizes, layouts, finishes, permit pathways and what your specific site would need.
Bring your address if you have one in mind. It makes the conversation much more useful.
