Design, nature and a proud moment for Elsewhere Pods
The Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show once again proved why it is one of the most anticipated events on the calendar.
The scale of the event was incredible. Every corner was filled with beautifully crafted gardens, thoughtful design and an energy that made it feel like spring had truly returned to Melbourne. From immersive landscapes to intricate planting, the level of creativity on display was remarkable.

A highlight of the show: The Garden Competition
One of the standout moments of the event was the Landscape Design Show Gardens competition.
The competition brought together some of the most talented designers in the country, each presenting a unique interpretation of how outdoor spaces can shape the way we live. The gardens were not only visually stunning but also deeply considered, reflecting themes of sustainability, wellbeing and connection to nature.
Among these exceptional entries was Jamie Durie’s “The Future Garden”, which won a Silver medal in this year’s Show Garden competition.

We were incredibly proud to be part of Jamie’s design of a future garden with an Elsewhere Pod. Jamie’s vision goes beyond aesthetics and horticulture. It is about creating a way of living that is sustainable, self-sufficient and deeply connected to both home and environment. It is the embodiment of our belief that modular construction is the future of housing.

Being part of this vision and seeing it come to life at such a high level was a proud moment for our team. Thank you, Jamie and congratulations to you and all the talented designers at the event.
Looking ahead: Jamie Durie’s Future House
Jamie Durie’s work continues beyond the show, with the upcoming second season of Future House set to be released later this year.
The new season will explore the future of sustainable building alongside practical solutions for everyday living, including how households can grow their own food year-round. With increasing attention on the cost of living in Australia, the idea of a 365-day vegetable garden is becoming more relevant than ever.
We are excited to see how these ideas are explored further and brought into everyday homes.

Melbourne Tiny Home Show
We also want to thank everyone who visited us at the Melbourne Tiny Home Show.
Despite the rainy weather, it was great to see so many people come through, explore modular living and speak with our team. We appreciate every conversation and every question that was shared over the weekend.
If you didn’t get a chance to speak with us at the event, feel free to reach out. We would be happy to continue the conversation and help you explore what is possible.
